Cancellations & Refund Policy – Snorkel with the Turtles

Operator Cancellations (Weather, Safety & Conditions)

Your safety is our highest priority. Tours are subject to ocean, weather, and operational conditions.

Snorkel with the Turtles reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, delay, or modify any tour due to (but not limited to):

  • Unsafe weather or sea conditions

  • Minimum passenger numbers not being met

  • Mechanical or technical issues

  • Safety concerns at the discretion of the Skipper

If we cancel your tour, you will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to reschedule to another available date

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any additional expenses (including travel, accommodation, or loss of income) incurred due to cancellation or schedule changes.

On-the-Day Changes & Skipper Authority

The Skipper has absolute discretion to alter, shorten, or terminate a tour at any time if conditions are deemed unsafe. This includes changes during the trip.

No compensation will be provided for itinerary changes made in the interest of safety.

Customer Cancellations & Booking Changes

  • 24+ hours notice: Full refund or free reschedule

  • Less than 24 hours notice: 100% cancellation fee (no refund)

Bookings are transferable to another person. Name changes must be provided prior to check-in.

No-Shows & Late Arrivals

Failure to arrive at the scheduled departure time will be treated as a no-show and is non-refundable.

Late arrivals may result in missed departure and are not eligible for refund or reschedule.

Seasickness & Personal Conditions

Seasickness, equalisation issues, and personal medical or physical conditions are outside our control.

Guests who are unable to complete the tour for these reasons are not eligible for a refund or reschedule.

We strongly recommend taking preventative measures such as motion sickness medication prior to departure

Right to Refuse Service

Snorkel with the Turtles reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest who:

  • Appears intoxicated or under the influence

  • Is deemed unsafe to participate

  • Fails to follow crew instructions or safety requirements

No refund will be provided in these circumstances.

Tour Conditions

All tours operate from Tweed Head and Cook Island and are subject to marine park regulations and environmental guidelines.
